Production

From kernel to container

The production sequence at Imintlit Centre, and the controls applied at each stage.

Inside the unit

Twenty seconds inside the press

Harvest, cracking, cold pressing and filling — the sequence that turns a kernel into a documented, batch-numbered lot.

01

Harvest and drying

Fruit is collected from the argan forest, dried, and the pulp separated from the nut.

02

Cracking

The nut is cracked by hand to release the kernel intact. Broken kernels are separated out.

03

Cold pressing

Mechanical pressing below 50 °C. No solvents at any stage.

04

Filtration

Micro-filtration removes particulates while leaving the unsaponifiable fraction intact.

05

Deodorization

For the deodorized grade only: physical steam treatment, no chemical solvent.

06

Filling and labelling

Filled into jerrycans, drums or IBC totes, labelled with batch and pressing date.
